The Effects of task-oriented treadmill gait training on the walking ability and balance of sub-acute stroke patient

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective: This study have examined the effect of task-oriented treadmill gait training on the walking ability and balance of sub-acute stroke patients.
Method: This study was conducted in the five patients who received treatment in the hospital in sub-acute stroke to hospital B of Seongnam-si, Gyungi-do. Experimental contents by using treadmill was performed task-oriented gait training a total of four weeks of five times once 30 min.
Results: The comparison of experimental pre and post-test, task-oriented treadmill gait training showed improvement in walking ability and balance.
Conclusion: Task-oriented treadmill gait training to sub-acute stroke patients showed an improvement in walking ability and balance, the future, it will be an effective way for the treatment of sub-acute stroke patients.
